You may know that the years between 13 and 20 can be some of the hardest. There are more pressures on our young people than ever before, and many are struggling with their emotions. Problems with friends, family, and school are fairly normal, but it may be difficult for your adolescent to talk to people that they know about how they are feeling, particularly if they feel like they don’t know whom to trust or are worried about being judged by those around them. Counseling can help with the overwhelming burden of the most challenging years of their lives. We offer a friendly and truly impartial ear and shoulder for their worries and a safe space where they can be free to be themselves. Our sessions will focus on letting your teenager or young adult relieve themselves of their concerns and helping them to find positive coping strategies that they can take forward into their adult lives.
